In Germany alone, one person is diagnosed with blood cancer every 12 minutes, including many children and young people. A transplant with healthy stem cells from a donor is often the only chance of a cure. DKMS gemeinnützige GmbH searches for and finds suitable donors for blood cancer patients all over the world and conducts targeted research to promote the best possible treatment and thus constantly improve the chances of a cure. In the fight against blood cancer, every euro counts - because every single new registration in the database alone costs DKMS 35 euros. Health insurance companies do not cover these costs. We are donating for a second chance at life in the fight against blood cancer and are foregoing gifts for customers and business partners this year. Among other things, our donation enables the registration of new donors so that more patients worldwide can be given a second chance at life.
